In the second quarter of 2026, 2.17 million guests visited Prague, of those 81% from abroad. Overall visitor traffic fell year-on-year by 1.2%, primarily due to a lower number of international travellers. In contrast, the number of domestic visitors rose by 5.1%.
Nearly 5 million overnight stays were recorded in Prague, a comparable number year-on-year. The average length of stay was 2.3 nights; 2.4 nights for international guests.
The most foreign visitors in Q2 came from Germany, the United States, Poland, the United Kingdom and Slovakia. The number of guests from the USA, Turkey, Brazil and Bulgaria grew considerably year-on-year, while the greatest drop-off was recorded in visitors from Germany, the UK and Slovakia.
