Petr Hlaváček

Deputy Mayor for Spatial Development and Land Use, City of Prague

Petr Hlaváček is the Deputy Mayor of Prague responsible for spatial development, land use, and strategic planning. In this role, he guides the city’s long-term approach to urban growth, with a particular focus on regenerating inner-city brownfields and preparing new districts that combine housing, services, and public spaces.

Under his leadership, Prague is advancing some of its most ambitious development projects, including Florenc 21, the Žižkov Freight Station redevelopment, and other large-scale revitalisations that will redefine the city’s central areas. He also plays a key role in addressing Prague’s critical housing challenge, promoting policies that balance affordability, sustainability, and architectural quality. With a professional background in architecture and urban planning, he brings both expertise and balance to the city’s development agenda, working to ensure Prague grows in a sustainable and liveable way.

 

Daniel Mazur

Councillor for ICT, Smart City, Science, Research and Innovation, Prague City Council

Daniel Mazur is a Member of the Prague City Council responsible for ICT, Smart City strategy, science, research, and innovation. He leads the city’s digital transformation and supports the development of an open, collaborative innovation ecosystem. Under his oversight, the Prague Innovation Institute has delivered multiple projects bringing over CZK 50–70 million in innovation services annually to the capital, including the Innovate Prague platform and innovation subsidies supporting startups and university spin-offs. He also oversees Operator ICT, which develops open-source digital tools for data-based city governance such as the Golemio data platform, Prague’s citizen portal, and the city’s open-data hub, and also pilots smart data-driven solutions for the city. This agenda is monitored through the Smart Prague Index annual report, which tracks progress in areas such as mobility, buildings’ energy efficiency, and waste management infrastructure.

 

Zdeněk Soudný

Executive Director, Na Jelenách a.s., Secretary General of the Association of Developers, Vice President of the Association of Entrepreneurs in Construction, member of the Czech Chamber of Commerce

Zdeněk Soudný has been involved in development, spatial planning, and urban development for more than 15 years. He serves as Secretary General of the Association of Developers, Vice-President of the Association of Building Entrepreneurs, and member of expert groups involved in the preparation of building standards and legislation. He systematically connects the public and private sectors and strives for a simpler, clearer, and more functional legislative environment. 

He is also active in popularization, regularly publishing in media focused on economics and urbanism, and speaking at conferences dedicated to the future of cities, affordable housing, and innovations in construction.

He is the Executive Director of Na Jelenách a.s., which is preparing the creation of a new urban rental district – Na Jelenách – in the southern part of Prague.

In addition, he is the director of the non-profit organization Dobrá rodina o.p.s., which is dedicated to supporting foster families and protecting children growing up outside their own families.

 

Miroslav Linhart

Partner in Charge, Advisory, CE RE Leader, Deloitte Advisory s.r.o.

Miroslav Linhart is a Senior Partner in the Advisory department at Deloitte Czech Republic, where he also heads the real estate and construction advisory practice. He specializes in corporate finance services focused on real estate transactions, real estate valuation, commercial due diligence, market analysis and search for acquisition targets, economic feasibility studies, and preparation of investment and business plans. Miroslav is a certified accountant in the United Kingdom (ACCA), publishes articles in economic and professional media, and is a frequent guest at conferences.

 

Václav Hlaváček

Studio acht, Czech Republic

Václav Hlaváček, who stands behind the Czech branch of Studio acht, has been collaborating with Dutch architects since the early 1990s. In 1993, he went on to establish the Prague branch of the studio. He thus represents the second generation of the practice (while his younger colleagues today are in many respects already the third). He sees himself as a successor to the original founders, with whom he closely cooperated on projects both in the Czech Republic and in Rotterdam.

In the Czech Republic, Studio acht maintains offices in Prague, Brno, Olomouc and Třinec. The studio currently has a team of 70 members.

 

Leoš Anderle

Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Board of the development group Sekyra Group

Leoš Anderle graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, specialising in building construction. He began his career in 1996 in the development division of Metrostav. He has been with Sekyra Group since 2001, when he joined as Director of the newly established commercial development division. He is married with two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, sport, and has a keen interest in architecture and art. His hobbies include collecting classic cars and travelling.

 

Josef Bláha

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Trade Centre Praha, a.s.

Since 2023, Josef Bláha has been responsible for the strategic management of the company, the development of the capital city's managed assets, and the coordination of real estate and urban infrastructure projects. He has many years of experience in property management and investment project management, where he emphasizes transparency, efficiency, and cooperation between the public and private sectors. At TCP a.s., he promotes an innovative approach to the use of municipal assets, aiming not only to achieve economic returns but also to maximize benefits for the citizens of Prague. Under his leadership, the company is involved in the preparation of strategic projects, such as the transformation of the Žižkov Freight Railway Station, and is taking an active role in the discussion about the future shape of the city.

 

Jan Elger

External Affairs Manager at the newly established State Investment and Development Company

Jan Elger is responsible for fostering relationships with municipalities surrounding emerging strategic industrial parks, as well as with regional authorities and a diverse range of local stakeholders. His role also extends to representing the company in international matters and cross-border negotiations. Previously, he worked at CzechInvest, where he was involved in the preparation of the Gigafactory project for Volkswagen. His previous experience includes several years at the German-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focusing on digitalization and sustainability initiatives, and at the British Chamber of Commerce, where he managed a mentoring program for start-ups.

 

Martin Fuchs

Artistic Director of Planetum

When, as a primary school pupil, Martin Fuchs made a tripod for a telescope in his great-uncle's carpentry workshop and enrolled in an astronomy course, he had no idea that the observatory and planetarium would literally become his life's destiny. He spent a decade studying electronics and computer graphics as a demonstrator at the Petřín Observatory, where, after a brief stint in primary research, he settled as head of the technical department. After a change in management, he moved to the Prague Planetarium as dramaturge and art director. Professionally, he straddles the worlds of technology and production. He is involved in content creation, design, and technology. He is an enthusiastic admirer of all nature, especially mountains and water, and a fan of travel, sports, electronic music, and urban exploration, all of which could be collectively referred to as the Universe.

 

Jan Krtička

Urban Planner, The Prague Institute of Planning and Development

Jan Krtička is an urban planner working at the Prague Institute of Planning and Development, where he heads the Urban Districts Development Office.

He is an architect (Faculty of Architecture, Czech Technical University) and sociologist (Faculty of Arts, Charles University Prague). He focuses on issues related to the planning of new districts, particularly spatial regulation and public facility planning.

 

David Musil

Country Managing Director for Czech Republic, Penta Real Estate

David Musil has worked at Penta since 2008 and is the longest-serving member of the team. He was responsible for Penta Real Estate’s first development project in the Czech Republic – Florentinum – which has won several prestigious awards, including the 2014 CEEQA Award for Best Office Project in Central and Eastern Europe. For several years, he managed major residential and hospitality projects that helped establish Penta Real Estate as one of the largest residential developers in Prague. He currently serves as the Country Managing Director for the Czech Republic. In the past, David also worked for Knight Frank in Prague, as well as PJ Hegarty & Sons and Laing O'Rourke in Dublin, Ireland.He’s an occasional lecturer at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he also graduated.

 

Marta Pražáková

Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Trade Centre Praha, a.s.

Marta Pražáková focuses primarily on the operational and organizational aspects of the company's activities, supporting development projects, and communicating with partners and the public. She has experience in both public administration and the private sector, and at TCP a.s. she focuses on promoting civic amenities and sustainable development within the framework of upcoming projects. She is actively involved in the conceptual preparation of urban revitalization projects and emphasizes the role of high-quality public spaces and services for residents. Her work aims to ensure that development projects not only enhance the reputation of Prague, but also improve the everyday lives of its residents.

 

Jakub Rozehnal

General Director of Planetum

Jakub Rozehnal studied astronomy and astrophysics at Charles University in Prague. He is a prominent figure in the popularization of astronomy in the Czech Republic. He began his career in 1993 at the Prague Planetarium and Observatory as a demonstrator. Over time, he advanced to become the director in 2017, unifying all centers under the Planetum brand – a modern, open educational organization. Under his leadership, the Štefánik Observatory was fully renovated, including the restoration of a historic early 20th-century astrograph. His largest project is the complete reconstruction of the Prague Planetarium, the world’s first fully digital LED planetarium.

Rozehnal’s professional focus lies in the formation and evolution of planetary systems. He is deeply involved in popularizing astronomy in the Czech Republic through lectures, translations, publications, and leading educational projects for the European Space Agency. Planetum, under his guidance, also participates in nanosatellite development and operates a satellite control center for student missions. Outside of science, he is an active musician, playing the guitar and violin in the Říčany Chamber Orchestra.

 

Ivan Strouhal

Director of Real Estate Business, TTC Group

Since 2007, Ivan Strouhal has been shaping the real estate activities of TTC Group. After holding various managerial positions, he became Director of TTC REAL ESTATE in 2014 and, since 2021, has overseen the TTC Group’s entire real estate portfolio. Over the years, he has participated in a number of projects that strengthened TTC’s position in the office and technology property segment. He is currently overseeing the preparation and construction of the OXYMA Technology Center, developed by the TTC Group in Prague’s Malešice district. On the site of an existing building, a brand-new modern complex will be built, combining office space, light manufacturing, laboratories, co-working areas, a data center, and innovative services – with the ambition of creating a vibrant innovation hub and transforming Prague’s Malešice into a “Czech Silicon Valley.”

 

Martina Váňová

Head of the Planning Contracts and Methodological Support Department, City of Prague

Martina Váňová graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, specializing in spatial planning. She worked as a spatial planning documentation designer for several years. She has been working at the Prague City Hall's Department of Spatial Development for 13 years, until 2023 as a spatial planning documentation administrator, and since 2023 as the Head of the newly established Planning Contracts and Methodological Support Department.

 

Jiří Jaroš

Moderator

Jiri Jaros is a moderator at CAMP (Center for Architecture and Metropolitan Planning) where he is dedicated to fostering meaningful dialogue about cities. He is a member of the Institute of Planning and Development in Prague and has contributed to every major project of the past decade. Jiri is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Architecture at CTU, with research focused on the role of municipal architects in the context of UN-Habitat’s New Urban Agenda framework. His passion lies in making architecture and the backstage of cities more accessible to the public, particularly through guided tours.
