THE CLIMATE IS CHANGING — AND SO IS PRAGUE
Prague is changing every day. Every day something is being repaired, built, improved or tested. More solar panels are appearing on school rooftops. New trees, benches and safer crossings are being added to streets. Parks and the surrounding landscape are gaining more water, shade and life. Recycling centres are expanding their services. Public transport is growing—with trolleybuses, new tram lines... Some changes are visible right away. Others take years to develop.

Prague is working to make it as easy as possible for you:
To have colour-coded recycling bins close at hand
To request a brown bin for bio-waste free of charge
To take unwanted items to reuse points or swap events
To travel on one of the best public transport systems in the world, including new routes and modern lines
To use park-and-ride facilities when coming into Prague by car
To take part in sharing solar energy, even if you don’t have your own roof
To cool off in summer at drinking fountains, misting stations or in the shade of newly planted trees
We all care about Prague. Together, we can make it an even more pleasant, modern, resilient and resource-efficient place to live—today, next year, and in the years to come.

This exhibition was prepared by the Environmental Protection Department of Prague City Hall in cooperation with the Transport and Energy Departments as part of the city’s climate policy. The exhibition was created by Jan Krajhanzl (Institute 2050), the panel illustrations are by Michaela Kukovičová, and the graphic design is by Belavenir.
