But traffic also means noise, air pollution and congestion. Every major city today faces the same challenge: how to make it easy for people to get around while keeping the city cleaner, quieter and healthier. Modern public transport and electrification instead of exhaust fumes can make a huge difference.

WHY ARE TROLLEYBUSES RETURNING TO PRAGUE?
The answer is simple: compared to diesel buses, trolleybuses produce no exhaust emissions, are quieter, and thanks to electric motors can travel 2.5 times further using the same amount of energy. In hilly Prague, they are often even more efficient than battery-powered buses: they recharge continuously, don’t need heavy batteries, and don’t need long charging stops.
