The festive opening: Josef Bolf - „Sense of dysphoria morphing into optimism“
On Wednesday 27th of April 2022 a festive opening of Josef Bolf´s long-awaited exhibition „Sense of dysphoria morphing into optimism“ took place at the Prague House Gallery in Brussels.
The Brussels exhibition of Josef Bolf, one of the most prominent Czech painters of today, presents a selection of 31 works from 2008 - 2022. The latest painting on display is entitled Ribbon and was completed just two weeks before the opening. The author and his work full of fantastic worlds and lonely characters afflicted with pain or melancholy, as well as the concept of the exhibition, were presented by curator Vilém Kabzan. During the gala evening, visitors had the opportunity to discuss featured art directly with the author.
Singer and producer Josefina Dusk in collaboration with DJ Jay North provided a unique musical performance. Its “experimental sci-fi dark pop” filled the inner Prague House with electricity and conquered the present audience.
