Christmas Concert 2019 – Ludmila Peterková and Bennewitz Quartet

On Tuesday 10th December 2019 a traditionally organised Czech Christmas concert took place in the church of Notre-Dame du Sablon.

As every year, the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Czech Centre in Brussels and the Delegation of Prague to the EU invited Czech artists to perform in Brussels. This year the clarinettist Ludmila Peterková and string Bennewitz Quartet accepted the invitation. Guests could admire the compositions by W. A. Mozart (Clarinet Quintet in A major), Josef Suk (Meditation on the Old Czech Chorale ‘St. Wenceslas’) and Clarinettino written by contemporary Czech composer Ondřej Kukal.

H.E. Pavel Klucký, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium, introduced the concert to the public.
