Christmas Concert 2023: Ivo Kahánek
On December 12, 2023 the Delegation of Prague together with the Czech Centre Brussels and with the kind support of the Czech Embassy to the Kingdom of Belgium organised the traditional Christmas Concert at the Church of Notre-Dame des Victoires au Sablon. The concert was given by Ivo Kahánek, one of the most impressive Czech pianists at the moment, a holder of several prestigious awards from both Czech republic and abroad, who gifted the audience with a truly magical performance.

About Ivo Kahánek: Kahánek's performances are characterized by an excellent play as well as his ability to establish an emotional bond with his audience. He has no borders in music though he mainly focuses on romantic repertoire. With his triumph at Prague Spring Competition in 2004, he became more known for the wider public. One of his most extensive works is the CD Dvořák - The Complete Piano Works, on which all of Dvořák's works are recorded, including his childhren's works that were published for the first time.
