Meeting with the candidate for European Commissioner Jozef Síkela
On September 10, 2024, a meeting of the candidate for European Commissioner for the Czech Republic, Jozef Síkela, with members of the European Parliament, representatives of the regions of the Czech Republic and employees of EU institutions took place in the premises of the Prague House.
"I am very happy for the opportunity to talk to so many people with whom I share the interest in securing the best possible position for the Czech Republic in Europe. I believe that active membership in the EU and constructive promotion of our interests is the approach that will best help us in this", he said at the beginning of the evening Jozef Síkela.
The event was organised by the Representation of the City of Prague to the EU, the Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU, the European Office of the Pilsen Region in Brussels and the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU.
Important guests were welcomed in the Prague House by Jan Chabr, chairman of the Energy Committee of the City of Prague.
