Rudy Linka - One Man Show
On November 16, 2022, the audience of the Prague House had the opportunity to meet the top jazz guitarist Rudy Linka in a slightly different way. Rudy Linka's one man show is a theatrical "stand-up" performance, interspersed with solo musical entries and complemented by a projection of photos from Rudy's private archive.
The concept of the show One Man Show - Between the Lines is based on Rudy's book On the way home...always, which was published by the Euromedia publishing house in 2020 on the occasion of Linka's 60th birthday and became a bestseller in just two months.
Rudy Linka started the evening with a guitar entrance - his version of the Czech national anthem, which resonated particularly strongly among the Czech part of the audience the night before the November 17. During the evening, the audience could get a glimpse into the world of Rudy Linka, who with lightness and humor spoked about the personalities and circumstances that most inspired and influenced him in his life.
