The festive opening: Art Nouveau Prague
In the evening of 8 July 2015, the Representation of Prague held a gala opening of the Art Nouveau Prague exhibition in the presence of the curator of the exhibition Petr Štembera, the head of the glass collection Milan Hlaveš and the Mayor of Prague Adriana Krnáčová.
The collection of Art Nouveau posters, chairs, photographs and glass from the collections of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague was enjoyed by 200 visitors. The evening was also attended by European Commissioner Věra Jourová, Ambassador Jaroslav Kurfürst and members of the Czech and Slovak national delegations. The Art Nouveau Prague exhibition is also an invitation to visit the long-term exhibition Art Nouveau/Vital Art 1900 at the Municipal House in Prague.
