26.9.2020 — The 28th of September is the Day of Czech Statehood. In Prague Zoo, this day is traditionally dedicated to the zoo's anniversary. The reopening of the Hippopotamus Pavilion and the introduction of the male hippoTchéco will be the highlights of this year's celebration. However, in order to maintain social distancing and prevent large numbers of visitors indoors, this part of the event will be broadcasted on ČT24 in the morning and visitors will be able to visit the Hippo Pavilion over the course of the afternoon.

18.11.2015 — Již na jaře 2016 se na různých veřejných prostranstvích Prahy objeví židle a stolky. Nový městský mobiliář Pražanům umožní pobývat i v místech, kde zatím podobná možnost chyběla. „Oživit a kultivovat veřejný prostor se dá i bez složitých a nákladných stavebních zásahů,“ říká primátorka Adriana Krnáčová. „Městská židle je navíc symbolem, značkou, spoluvytváří image města pro všechny.“

24.2.2020 — Rada hl. m. Prahy dnes schválila, že se město bude podílet na organizaci mezinárodního kongresu ICGAI (International Congress for the Governance of Artificial Intelligence 2020). Jeho tématem bude regulace a etika umělé inteligence. Očekává se až 450 účastníků z řad předních vědců, politiků i zástupců světových institucí, které se zabývají umělou inteligencí, jejím vývojem a dopady na život lidí.

11.12.2017 — On December 4, 2017, Prague celebrated the 25th anniversary of the inscription of the Historical Center of Prague on the UNESCO's List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The international conference Prague – World Heritage City 2017 was organized to commemorate this occasion.

30.9.2019 — The Czech capital wants to thank blood donors by inviting them to the first of three Prague Symphony Orchestra (FOK) concerts at the end of September. City representatives and representatives of the Czech Red Cross Regional Organisation (CRC) will also receive the Jánský Gold Medal, which is traditionally given to donors who give blood 40 times. Subsequent concerts are scheduled for February and May next year.

25.4.2020 — The National Museum in Prague is working on a restoration of its largest collection item, the blue whale skeleton. Visitors will soon be able to see it online.
