16.9.2020 — LUSTR 2020, the 7th annual international illustration showcase, will take place between the 17th and the 22nd of September. This year, LUSTR Prague will also include comics for the first time. More than 40 participants from all over the world will exhibit in Campus Hybernská, and the programme will also include lectures, workshops, a festival shop, refreshments, music and a programme for children.

31.5.2020 — Wearing a facemask, respirator or bandana has become a new standard in the Czech Republic due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is mandatory to cover your nose and mouth from the 19th of March, with some exceptions. The Czech Police Museum is creating an original collection of masks to exhibit. Due to a lack of masks and because they are mandatory, some people started to make them at home.

14.8.2020 — Čajomír Fest, the international tea festival, will once again offer two days of tea tastings, great food and drink, music, dancing, a children's zone and a tea school. You can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of the festival over the weekend of the 15th and 16th of August in the beautiful surroundings of Vyšehrad.

12.1.2011 — Více než patnáct tisíc Pražanů si na sklonku roku 2010 zasportovalo zdarma. Všech 33 sportovišť, která poskytla volné bezplatné hodiny pro veřejnost, přislíbila svou účast i v dalším ročníku. Pražští příznivci sportu však mohou stihnout navštívit do příštích Vánoc mnoho dalších sportovních událostí, které hlavní město Praha podporuje.

The 20th anniversary of the festival will bring music and harmony to the various venues in the city: Rudolfinum, Obecní dům (Municipal House), Pražský hrad (Prague Castle), Novoměstská radnice (New Town Hall), Kongresové centrum (Prague Congress Centre) and the hall in the city of Mladá Boleslav. 6.7.2020 — The VILA Štvanice Theatre has opened its outdoor summer venue, with the biggest stage located under the arch of the Hlávkův Bridge overlooking the park. The summer stage programme will include open-air theatre plays, concerts and movie screenings. The bridge's arch offers a shelter, so even bad weather cannot spoil the show!

23.7.2020 — The large courtyard of the former barracks in Karlín in Prague is being used as an unusual open-air cinema for the second year. Summer cinema Kasárna Karlín (Karlín Barracks) screens classic movies both from the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as experimental films, from June to September.

9.6.2003 — Okolí Ladronky, zrekonstruované pro in-line bruslaře, cyklisty, ale i pro pěší, upravené sportovní i relaxační plochy včetně laviček, nové osvětlení a nově vysazené stromy předali dnes do užívání veřejnosti náměstek primátora hl. m. Prahy Ing. Jan Bürgermeister a starosta městské části Praha 6 Mgr. Tomáš Chalupa.

2.5.2007 — Pražští studenti mají od včerejška nového krále Majálesu. Slavnostně korunován byl za přítomnosti několika rektorů pražských vysokých škol přímo na open air festivalu na holešovickém Výstavišti. Dnes před budovou Nové radnice na Mariánském náměstí přijal z rukou Markéty Reedové, náměstkyně primátora, symbolický klíč od města. Nad celým Pražským Majálesem 2007 převzal záštitu primátor hlavního města Prahy Pavel Bém

18.8.2009 — Rada hlavního města Prahy schválila přidělení finančních prostředků v celkové výši 2 340 000 korun na podporu sportovních akcí v roce 2009. Hlavní město Praha na tyto akce přispívá a podporuje je v rámci partnerství při jejich pořádání.
