10.9.2020 — One World is an international human rights documentary film festival, which screens over a hundred international documentaries every year. Unfortunately, this year it was suspended mid-festival due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it will resume from the 11th to the 22nd of September, offering the films that were not screened in the spring.

18.11.2019 — Until the 1st of March 2020, Prague City Gallery is presenting an exhibition of works by the prominent Czech artist Květa Pacovská. You can see her early works on the 3rd floor of the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace.

4.8.2019 — Cat Clyde, a talented Canadian musician, will perform at the popular Café V lese. You can look forward to a range of great music, from country and folk to jazz and rock. The concert will take place on the 8th of August in Vršovice.

5.3.2019 — From Monday the 4th to Friday the 15th of March 2019, the funicular from Újezd to Petřín will be out of operation due to regular spring maintenance.

20.1.2019 — The long-neglected ecclesiastical building was completely restored under the supervision of the state heritage preservation boards.

25.3.2024 — V rámci vůbec první Primátorské velikonoční sbírky potravin se vybralo 2 784 kilogramů potravin a drogerie a také půl tuny krmiva pro zvířata.

16.12.2024 — V areálu chrtího závodiště v Praze 5 vznikne nové sportoviště. Pražští radní v pondělí podpořili výkup staveb a příslušenství areálu Greyhound Park Motol na pozemcích o výměře více než 28 tisíc metrů čtverečných. Znalecký posudek stanovil jejich cenu na více než 215 milionů korun. Výkup v lednu projedná Zastupitelstvo hl. m. Prahy.

27.2.2024 — V loňském roce byl na všech sběrných dvorech hlavního města zaveden zpětný odběr pneumatik. Pro občany to v praxi znamená, že za jejich odložení již nemusí platit. Tato možnost se setkala s velkým úspěchem a zájmem Pražanů, množství odevzdaných pneumatik vzrostlo z 257 tun na 549 tun.

28.2.2011 — V roce 2010 navštívilo Prahu celkem 4 733 701 zahraničních turistů, což bylo oproti roku 2009 o téměř 9 procent více. Podpora cestovního ruchu a zviditelnění Prahy přinesly podle pražského radního Lukáše Kauckého dobré výsledky. Zvýšil se i počet domácích návštěvníků metropole. Praha se také stala vítězem již 13. ročníku ankety TTG Awards v kategorii Nejvstřícnější region či město v České republice.

16.5.2013 — Polský institut a velvyslanectví ve spolupráci s iniciativou Auto*Mat připravili zvláštní program pro všechny nadšené cestovatele. Chtějí-li se zapojit, mohou země Visegrádu objet na kole. Přitom nemusejí ani opustit Prahu. V rámci programu se navíc otevře Fürstenbergská zahrada Polského velvyslanectví, která je veřejnosti běžně uzavřena.

24.9.2010 — Včera se konala vernisáž výstavy mladých světových tvůrců a ikon českého skla Sklo.Klasik. Při této příležitosti se v Letohrádku královny Anny na Pražském hradě udílely ceny Stanislava Libenského.

17.8.2020 — On the night of the 21st of August, Nora En Pure, a talented DJ, will show her mixing skills at the Roxy Music Club. The artist regularly returns to the Czech capital and Prague audiences love her. Nora En Pure was born as Daniela Di Lillo in Johannesburg in 1990, to South African-Swiss parents. 4.10.2019 — On the 5th of October, Prague Botanical Garden will host 'Slamák' festival, where you can 'experience the countryside in Prague'. Come to enjoy country life, have fun, relax and eat food fresh from the farm, all in a relaxed atmosphere.

23.6.2019 — Most of the international contemporary dance festival KoresponDance will take place at the Castle in Žďár nad Sázavou, but the opening event will be in Prague. On the 25th of June, dancers will entertain the audience with three performances at the historical building of Invalidovna in Prague. One of the highlights of the evening will be a solo performance by James Batchelor, one of Australia's most amazing dance artists.

30.7.2020 — Summer 2020 in Prague Botanical Garden is dedicated to conifers. Araucaria, Podocarpus, and Agathis (commonly known as kauri or dammara) are not the names of mythical animals, but of conifers that the garden will introduce as part of an exhibition that will take place until the end of August. Children will have the opportunity to learn all about conifers with characters from 'Čtyřlístek', popular Czech comic books for children.

30.7.2020 — Whether you want to shop, eat or meet up with friends, Malostranské náměstí (Lesser Town Square) is the place to go on Thursday, the 30th of July. A popular farmers' market will take place on the busy square in the heart of the Czech capital, with a special offer on seafood and Prosecco. Thankfully, the popular market is not overly affected by restrictions, so you can freely enjoy shopping and socialising.

13.9.2004 — Radní hl. m. Prahy Mgr. Hana Halová se dnes na Staroměstském náměstí zúčastnila pátého ročníku Světového dne první pomoci, nad kterým již podruhé převzala záštitu

12.1.2011 — Více než patnáct tisíc Pražanů si na sklonku roku 2010 zasportovalo zdarma. Všech 33 sportovišť, která poskytla volné bezplatné hodiny pro veřejnost, přislíbila svou účast i v dalším ročníku. Pražští příznivci sportu však mohou stihnout navštívit do příštích Vánoc mnoho dalších sportovních událostí, které hlavní město Praha podporuje.
