3.8.2019 — The revitalisation of the western part of Central Park in Chodov, Prague 11, carried out by 'Lesy hl. m. Prahy' (Prague City Forests) since spring 2018, was completed recently.

7.9.2020 — V úterý bude v areálu pražského Výstaviště slavnostně zahájen třítýdenní festival kultury. Hlavním cílem festivalu je podpořit umělce, nabídnout Pražanům multižánrový program a podpořit tak návrat kulturního a společenského života.

Celkem již dokončila 40 projektů a na dalších s partnery postupně pracuje. Jednotlivé projekty reflektují i kultivaci veřejného prostoru a eliminaci negativních projevů spojených s turismem v historickém centru. Příkladem je kampaň Enjoy Respect Prague, která vkusnou formou informuje turisty o pravidlech a kultuře chování. Nově kampaň doplňují outdoorové plakáty informující turisty, aby se nefotili se zvířaty, která jsou zneužívána pro ilegální byznys a provozovatelé si za to nechávají platit i několik tisíc korun.

31.5.2021 — Stejně jako loni podpoří hlavní město i v letošním roce rozjezd cestovního ruchu programem V Praze jako doma. Do metropole bude lákat domácí i zahraniční turisty na volné vstupy do vybraných muzeí, galerií nebo zoo. Návštěvníci se mohou těšit na řadu novinek, například na živé kulturní akce nebo turistickou tramvaj.

8.5.2019 — On Saturday, the 11th of May, Prague Castle will officially open the summer tourist season. The seat of the Czech heads of state is on this day open to visitors completely for free. Apart from the opening of the summer season, the 100th anniversary of the Office of the President of the Republic will also be celebrated.

10.4.2010 — Primátor hl. m. Prahy Pavel Bém se včera zúčastnil prvního výročí Hard Rock Cafe Praha. Klub se nachází ve třech patrech historické budovy domu U Rotta na Malém náměstí, a včerejší oslavy 1. výročí od svého vzniku byly vskutku velkolepé. Restaurace pro téměř 400 osob, dva bary, obchod a klub se tak zaplnili oslavujícími návštěvníky.

15.12.2019 — You will have the opportunity to attend an interesting lecture in the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace, the educational centre of the Prague City Gallery, on the 17th of December. This time, the gallery has prepared a lecture on the famous Baroque sculptor Jerome Kohl and his works, as part of their lecture series Stories of Sculptures.

19.2.2018 — The Prague Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice (Výstaviště Holešovice) will come to life on the 24th of February with the traditional fair of St. Matthew. Visitors can look forward to more than 115 different entertainment attractions, an accompanying program and, of course, stalls with typical fair fast food. This year's fair will last until April 15 and is again the first event of its kind in Europe.

15.11.2019 — On Sunday, the 17th of November, Prague Zoo will present an exhibition for people with sight loss, as well as for others to understand what it's like to perceive a zoo with senses other than sight.

30.6.2019 — From the 5th to the 7th of July, a unique stand up paddleboard race (SUP) will take place in the historical centre of Prague, on the Vltava River near Střelecký Island ('Střelecký ostrov'). The first official SUP race in Prague is part of the tenth anniversary of the biggest European series, The Euro Tour. In addition to racing, the weekend will be full of sport opportunities for all paddle board enthusiasts. Paddle board fans of any level of experience will be able to borrow and try out paddle boards.

16.10.2020 — As a result of the further government regulations in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, Prague Zoo in Troja has had to close again. The zoo currently expects to close for 17 days, which means a big loss for the zoo. How can you help? Although Prague Zoo is largely funded by Prague City Hall, its resources are limited. Therefore, the zoo is asking the public for help.

14.9.2009 — Náměstkyně primátora hlavního města pro oblast školství Marie Kousalíková předala v sobotu večer ceny vítězům prvního finálového večera taneční soutěže Prague Open International IDSF 2009. Ten je již šestým ročníkem úspěšné mezinárodní soutěže ve standardních a latinskoamerických tancích a konal se tento víkend 12. a 13. září ve sportovní hale ARENA Sparta.

7.11.2005 — V rezidenci primátora hlavního města byl včera večer otevřen 7. ročník Prague Fashion Week. Módní přehlídku slavnostně zahájil primátor Pavel Bém, který nad touto akcí převzal i záštitu. 22.10.2020 — Prague Zoo has been breeding polar bears since 1932, and they have had several significant breeding successes since then. However, taking care of them is very difficult and the 80-year-old pavilion is no longer suitable, so Prague Zoo is going to build a new Arctic pavilion.

Radní Lukáš Manhart a prezident PIM Carlo Capalbo dnes podepsali dodatek, který prodlužuje platnost dřívější dohody o spolupráci až do konce roku 2019. Dodatek k dohodě schválila tento měsíc Rada hl. m. Prahy.

16.3.2019 — Prague is preparing for greater St. Patrick's Day celebrations than ever before. The main attraction will be the festive parade on Sunday the 17th of March, which begins and ends in Campus Hybernská, where the other main celebrations will be held. According to the legend, Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, converted the people of Ireland to Christianity in the fifth century.

25.9.2020 — The romantic setting of the Gardens below Prague Castle offers a unique opportunity to relax and regain positive energy. On the 26th and 27th of September, visitors can also avail of the offer of guided tours.

30.7.2020 — The residents of Prague will have the opportunity to sail down the Vltava River in a replica of a traditional boat called a 'šíf'. It is a large wooden boat, similar to a barge, which has been used to transport cargo including stones, sand, salt, grain and beer for centuries. This particular 'šíf' was built two years ago with support from Vltavan Čechy, a union which connects Vltava River associations from Prague, Davle, Štěchovice and Purkarec.

23.6.2022 — Klasickou hudbu, jazz, crossover i filmové melodie nabízí letošní ročník festivalu Prague Proms 2022. Hudební maraton až do 20. října představí několik netradičních koncertů konaných například v pražském klubu The Loop Jazz Club Hostivař, ve Smetanově síni Obecního domu nebo v chrámu sv. Prezentaci hlavního města Prahy v zahraničí prostřednictvím filmové a televizní tvorby město v roce 2016 aktivně podpořilo založením Nadačního fondu Prague Film Fund, který byl v roce 2022 přejmenován na Pražský audiovizuální nadační fond.
