14.9.2009 — Náměstkyně primátora hlavního města pro oblast školství Marie Kousalíková předala v sobotu večer ceny vítězům prvního finálového večera taneční soutěže Prague Open International IDSF 2009. Ten je již šestým ročníkem úspěšné mezinárodní soutěže ve standardních a latinskoamerických tancích a konal se tento víkend 12. a 13. září ve sportovní hale ARENA Sparta.

The Prague Market, a former slaughterhouse, offers a rich cultural programme for the occasion of its 125th birthday this year.

17.2.2019 — Since the Prague Public Transport Museum is very popular, The Prague Public Transit Co. Inc. has decided to open it to the public even in the winter months. The museum will be open every weekend until the 31st of March 2019 from 9am to 5pm. Visitors will find more than forty historic vehicles and many other exhibits here, including models, photographs, historical documents, tickets and transport plans.

8.5.2020 — Selected branches of the Municipal Library of Prague opened to the public on Tuesday the 5th of May. However, health and safety measure must still be followed. Despite the government's decision to allow public libraries to open from the 27th of April, some libraries, such as the Municipal Library of Prague, were surprised by this decision and were not ready to open so soon.

15.7.2019 — Prague Exhibition Grounds welcomes visitors to the summer season. Besides attractions for children, sports opportunities and picnic spots, a summer garden restaurant and a new bistro are also open. Now, visitors can enter the lower part of the Grounds directly from Stromovka. In addition to continuing works on bigger investment projects, smaller-scale improvements are gradually being completed.

17.4.2012 — Rada hlavního města Prahy dnes schválila přidělení finančních prostředků ve výši 17 610 000 Kč formou daru na partnerství hl. m. Prahy při pořádání sportovních akcí v roce 2012. Výbor pro výchovu a vzdělávání Zastupitelstva hl. m. Prahy doporučil finanční pomoc vybraným projektům na svém včerejším zasedání.

1.4.2019 — In April, 'Mladí Ladí Jazz', the annual International Youth Jazz Festival in Prague, will bring seven evenings of concerts where world renowned stars will be performing, workshops and, of course, the traditional youth competition 'Jazzfruit'. The festival is looking for talents in contemporary jazz and the experimental scene from the Czech Republic and abroad, and introduce them to the public. Its main goal is to bring the attention of a young audience back to jazz music and restore traditions of this music in the Czech Republic.

15.9.2008 — Prague Open International IDSF 2008 je pátým ročníkem úspěšné mezinárodní soutěže ve standardních a latinskoamerických tancích. Konal se o víkendu 13. a 14. září, vždy od 10 do 22 hodin v Basketbalové hale Sparty. Prvního finálového večera se zúčastnila také náměstkyně primátora pro oblast školství Marie Kousalíková. Soutěž je pořádána pod záštitou hlavního města Prahy.

5.8.2019 — The international floorball tournament Czech Open 2019 will take place in thirteen halls across Prague from the 8th to the 11th of August. The tournament is not only for elite world teams, but also for amateur and junior teams. The 28th international floorball tournament is considered one of the largest and most prestigious in the world. The biggest stars regularly come to Prague for this event.

The aim of this project is to offer children from Prague the opportunity to try out various sports and pick out their favourite.

15.10.2019 — On the 16th of October, the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences will hold an Open Day. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the academy's historic building in Vinohrady in Prague, built in the 1920s by the Czech architect Josef Gočár, and learn about the history of the academy.
