15.8.2017 — Hlavní město Praha udělalo další krok k tomu, aby se zařadilo mezi světová Smart Cities, a to díky jednotné datové platformě, která je stěžejní součástí koncepce Smart Prague. Tento projekt zajistí přenos, ukládání, zpracování, zveřejňování a praktické použití dat pro efektivnější řízení města.

9.2.2023 — K letošním výročí připravila městská společnost Prague City Tourism na celý rok speciální programy a akce. Budou to mimo jiné retro vycházky nebo mimořádné vyjížďky historickou tramvají a návštěvy vybraných objektů za zvýhodněné vstupné 65 korun.

9.10.2020 — Fotograf Festival, which takes place in Prague until the 18th of October, is a festival of photography, which explores the relationship between contemporary art and photography. A series of exhibitions and film screenings in several locations in Prague will be organised, as well as lectures, debates with artists and performances. The motto of this year's festival is 'Uneven Ground'. Come to explore the unknown, the unexpected, the other. In eight connected exhibitions, organisers offer various perspectives, creating and examining connections between artists from different generations and places, as well as between photographers and their models or objects. In doing so, they connect not only one person with another, but also the known with the unknown.

5.4.2011 — Primátor včera zahájil čtvrtý ročník veletrhu fotografie Prague Photo, který se koná pod jeho záštitou. V rámci vernisáže výstavy byla udělena cena UniCredit Bank Prague Photo Young Award mladému umělci do 35 let Janu Přibylskému – jeho zástupci převzali z rukou primátora symbolický šek na 50 tisíc korun.

Web zároveň nabízí inspiraci rodinám s dětmi, gurmetům i těm, kteří chtějí objevovat současnou tvář metropole.

23.5.2020 — You have the opportunity to admire award-winning and selected photos from the Czech Nature Photo 2020 competition until the 28th of June. The Czech Nature Photo 2020 exhibition, which exhibits the best nature images by photographers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, takes place in the Czech Photo Centre, 4 Seydlerova Street, Prague 5 - Nové Butovice.

31.1.2020 — The exhibition at Prague Castle's Imperial Stables ('Císařská konírna') displays portraits by Czech artists starting with Josef Mánes, who was born 200 years ago this year. The exhibition, which was organised in cooperation with the Office of The President of the Republic, Prague Castle Administration and the Manes Association of Fine Artists, will run until the 22nd of March 2020.

4.8.2022 — Přípravy na mezinárodní událost Prague City Data Congress (PCDC), který se uskuteční v druhé polovině září v Praze, vrcholí. Letos se zaměří na klimatickou změnu a na příkladech z oblastí dopravy a veřejného prostoru představí řadu inteligentních řešení, která využívají data v projektech na ochranu klimatu. The most famous event of its kind in Prague, 'Pražské primátorky', was held for the first time in 1910, and has been held every year, with the exception of 1914 to 1918.

19.10.2020 — Vedení města společně s městskou společností Prague City Tourism a ve spolupráci s Institutem plánování a rozvoje hlavního města Prahy připravilo Koncepci příjezdového cestovního ruchu hlavního města Prahy. Jejím smyslem je vybalancovat ekonomické přínosy turismu se strategickým zájmem města a jeho obyvatel. Nastavuje tak nový, komplexní a udržitelný přístup k problematice cestovního ruchu na území hlavního města. Koncepci ve čtvrtek 15. října 2020 jednomyslně schválili pražští zastupitelé.

27.10.2020 — Technická správa komunikací hl. m. Prahy (TSK) announced two public contracts for the restoration of Prague's Libeň Bridge, management of the construction and coordination of the entire project. The aim of the first contract is to select a supplier of the construction works and related design and engineering services. The selection process will be carried out in accordance with the FIDIC - Yellow Book conditions (Design & Build project type). The second public contract aims to find a suitable construction manager and project coordinator.

23.3.2019 — Prague City Gallery is preparing a very unusual concert. On the 26th of March in 'Dům U Kamenného zvonu' (The Stone Bell House) in 'Staroměstské náměstí' (Old Town Square), the British artist Lee Patterson will bring you the world of his art. This musician, sound artist and designer of experimental musical instruments could possibly be described as a sound sculptor. Patterson lives and works in Prestwich near Manchester, UK.

15.6.2020 — Prague Symphony Orchestra, also known as FOK, which stands for Film Opera Koncert, will hold a special concert in the Municipal House's Smetana Hall. The concert will be the orchestra's first after the coronavirus break and will take place at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, the 23rd of June. The orchestra will be directed by Pietari Inkinen. Sibelius' tone poem 'Finlandia' Op. 26 and Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 in E minor Op. 95 'From the New World' will be on the evening's programme. This is will Inkinen's final concert as chief conductor of FOK, with his typical combination of Finnish and Czech music.

7.9.2020 — Israeli bassist Avishai Cohen will launch the Strings of Autumn festival on the Lucerna Rooftop on the 11th of September, with up to 250 spectators. The capacity is limited to 250 spectators. Music lovers will enjoy Cohen's concert in an unusually intimate atmosphere, very different to the great halls where he usually plays. The charming environment on the Lucerna Palace Rooftop between the Prague towers offers a unique view of Prague's landmarks and makes the concert even more special.

18.11.2019 — Until the 1st of March 2020, Prague City Gallery is presenting an exhibition of works by the prominent Czech artist Květa Pacovská. You can see her early works on the 3rd floor of the Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace.

4.5.2012 — V Rezidenci primátora byli včera večer oceněni významní vědci a špičkoví odborníci za snahu o rozvoj kongresové turistiky v Praze. Ocenění předali primátor Bohuslav Svoboda a prezident Prague Convention Bureau (PCB) Sanjiv Suri. Večer vyvrcholil předáním ceny za dlouhodobý přínos kongresové turistice. Oceněn byl prof. RNDr. Václav Pačes, DrSc. Profesor Pačes se významně zasloužil o popularizaci genetiky široké veřejnosti.
