3.12.2012 — Dnes byly slavnostně zahájeny rozsvícením vánočního stromečku za účasti náměstka primátora Pavla Richtera a starosty městské části Praha 1 Oldřicha Lomeckého již druhé Václavské Vánoce. Podtitulem letošní akce jsou Vánoční trhy pro Pražany. Díky podpoře primátora Bohuslava Svobody, společností PRE a ELTODO, se letos rozsvítí horní část Václavského náměstí a to nejen tradičním vánočním stromečkem, ale i krásnou sváteční světelnou výzdobou stromů, které lemují náměstí.

27.5.2021 — Olympijské hry v Tokiu budou sice bez zahraničních fanoušků, atmosféru her ale do Prahy a dále i do Brna přenesou Olympijské festivaly. Nejdelší sportovní akce léta bude trvat 17 dní a nabídne přes 30 sportů k vyzkoušení. Hlavním motivem festivalů je návrat dětí ke sportu, proto se poprvé uskuteční i příměstské tábory. Nebudou chybět paralympijské sporty, speciální den pro seniory nebo nová vzdělávací zóna.

29.2.2020 — Prague City Hall intend to transform the Prague Market into a lively space with a wide range of shops, services and cultural activities for all generations, following the takeover of the market in Holešovice last year. The Prague Market, a former slaughterhouse, offers a rich cultural programme for the occasion of its 125th birthday this year.

30.7.2019 — From the end of September, a campaign is taking place in the streets of Prague that will focus on the rules and regulations tourists need to follow in the Czech capital. The campaign is organised by Prague City Tourism in cooperation with the Night Mayor Jan Štern. It will focus on the behaviour of tourists in the most problematic parts of the town. Next year, it will be followed up by a long-term campaign that will specifically target tourists, thanks to the results of the STEM / MARK agency's survey on the behaviour of tourists in Prague at night.

31.8.2020 — This year, the Open House Prague urban architecture festival will take place on the weekend of the 5th and 6th September. A total of 73 architecturally interesting buildings and spaces will be open free of admission to the public.
