What does reuse mean?
- 1 minuta čtení
Reuse means using items again instead of throwing them away. Every item returned to circulation means less waste and a lower burden on the environment.
A responsible approach to things – donating, repairing, or sharing them – is within reach of all of us.
How to prevent waste?
Donate
Functional and well-preserved items you no longer need can bring someone else joy. Bring them to Reuse Points at collection yards, or to Reuse Centers.
Buy second-hand
You can find high-quality, timeless, and affordable items on online platforms or in Reuse Centers. Try visiting them as your first option next time you shop.
Swap
At swap events or during Reuse Days, you can exchange items for other ones you currently need. Come with friends or organize a swap at your workplace.
Repair
Broken doesn’t mean discarded. At circular workshops or repair courses, you can fix everyday items as well as your favorite vintage pieces.
Upcycle
Old items can be creatively transformed into something new and useful – for example, make furniture from pallets, a bag from old T-shirts, or an insect hotel from beverage cartons.
Small changes in everyday life are enough. Every step counts.
