Tourism in Prague in the second quarter of 2025

2.2 million visitors came to Prague in the second quarter of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%. The number of overnight stays rose by 7%, reaching nearly 5 million.

Foreigners comprise approximately 82% percent of all visitors (1.8 million), having increased in number 5% year-on-year. The most foreign tourists came from Germany (16.2%), followed by the USA, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Poland, and Slovakia. In absolute numbers, the greatest year-on-year increases were from Slovaks (15 000), citizens of the UK (12 300) and those of the USA (7 700).

The capital saw 400.5 thousand visitors from Czech regions, 1.7% more than last year.
