Josef Bolf is one of the most famous Czech artists of the generation born in the 1970s. His artworks and personality permeate Czech art. He is one of the few artists to exhibit his works with Hunt Kastner Artworks at international art fairs. He was nominated for the "Jindřich Chalupecký Award" but since he did not receive it, he will have to wait for the Award for artists over 35 years old. Josef Bolf never leaves the world of sorrow and emotions. He creates alternatives of his own experience on a pink background. He overcomes the limitations of individual media with the same ease as he crosses the line between real and unreal. His drawings are derived from paintings, sculptures, comics, texts and films. The exhibition, Ty nejsi Ty, Ty jsi já /You Aren't You, You Are I/, organically blends the fragments of individual approaches and introduces the story of actual episodes in a semi-epic permeation of the resulting scene.
