Price map of building plots has a function assisting land valuations relevant in Prague. However, the stated valuation doesn’t restrict or determine the price of building land which can result from an agreement between a purchaser and a buyer. The aim of the price map, which is annually supplemented and updated, is to specify valuation of building plots and provide an overview of land prices and its current trends in Prague. On 1st January 2008 came into effect the Ordinance of the Capital City of Prague No. 18/2007 replacing the Ordinance of the Capital City of Prague No. 32/1998 Coll. and bringing new regulations related to the price map of building land in Prague.
