Old Town Hall to open on Monday with 50% admission discount
The Old Town Hall will reopen after two months, at 11am on Monday the 11th of May. There will be a 50% discount on admission and guided tours will be available by appointment from the 25th of May.
“I am delighted that we can finally share one of Prague’s finest structures with visitors again. We decided to reduce admission prices by 50%. I hope the residents of Prague, as well as local visitors, will avail of the opportunity to see the Old Town Hall, as they probably do not remember it, without queues and crowds,” Petr Slepička, the manager of Prague City Tourism, says.
The building’s Romanesque-Gothic basement will remain closed until further notice and visitors can pay for tickets in the tourist information centre.
The Old Town Hall’s lookout tower is the only medieval tower in Prague which is wheelchair accessible. An elevator can take visitors to the gallery to enjoy the tour in comfort, even with the compulsory face mask.
Prague City Tourism Information Centres will reopen at the same time as the Old Town Hall, one on the ground floor of the Old Town Hall, and the other at Na Můstku, 12 Rytířská Street. Information Centres will be open daily from 11am to 5pm. Extended opening hours will apply from the 25th of May: 10am to 7pm daily.
