17.10.2006 — Zklidnění automobilové dopravy v Sokolovské ulici a obsluhu nových rozvojových území podél Vltavy přinese výstavba prodloužení Pobřežní ulice, respektive Rohanského nábřeží, v osmé městské části. Stavba je rozdělena do dvou etap. Ta první, kterou dnes odstartoval pražský primátor Pavel Bém, protáhne Pobřežní ulici od Šaldovy k ulici Za Invalidovnou.

7.7.2008 — Velkou finanční zátěž představují pro hlavní město rekonstrukce komunikací a dešťových kanalizací, které probíhají zároveň. Na takto komplexně řešené stavby nejsou vypsány operační programy Evropské unie, a tak je pro Prahu získávání finančních prostředků náročnější. Úspěšná koordinace se jí již podařila například u staveb v městské části Kbely či v Sedlci v Praze 6. V současnosti metropole chystá pokračování rekonstrukce komunikace a dešťové kanalizace v ulici Žitavského na Zbraslavi.

4.7.2008 — O více než sto procent vzrostla během prvních šesti měsíců letošního roku úspěšnost pražských strážníků při zadržování autorů nápisů a kreseb, tzv. graffiti, kterými nezákonně poškozují cizí majetek, především nemovitosti. Zásadní podíl na tomto úspěchu mají také samotní Pražané, kteří se stali svědky této velmi časté formy vandalismu. Hlavní město Praha každoročně vynakládá nemalé prostředky na jejich likvidaci.

10.1.2019 — The annual series of concerts of exceptional musicians from four continents will take place once again in Prague club Jazz Dock. Renowned American guitarist Julian Lage, trumpet virtuoso Ambrose Akinmusire, walking in the footsteps of Miles Davis, and Israeli double bass player Adam Ben Ezra will all partake.

6.10.2020 — The international literary festival in Prague has been introducing the world's most renowned writers and the best world literature for the past 30 years. The Prague Writer's Festival will take place between the 7th and the 11th of October in the Convent of St. Agnes and Rock Café this year.

29.2.2020 — Prague Conservatory invites you to an incredible musical experience on the 2nd of March, when you will get the chance to enjoy the composer Camille Saint-Saëns's works in their representative hall. Students of the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) organised the concert. They formed the orchestra and they will present three instrumental compositions by the French master.

31.10.2020 — 'Dvě tváře Prahy', meaning Two Faces of Prague, is a competition in which the participating photographers capture either the positive or the negative aspects of Prague. An outdoor exhibition of 23 winning photographs on large panels can be seen until the 5th of November in the pedestrian zone of Na Příkopě Street. The theme of 'Dvě tváře Prahy 2020' was Wenceslas Square and the surrounding area, and all types of photographers took part: adults, young people, children, keen amateurs and professionals. A total of 720 images were sent to the competition, the most in its eleven-year history.

31.8.2023 — Již 26. ročník mezinárodní sportovní akce Birell Grand Prix Praha se v ulicích hlavního města uskuteční tuto sobotu 2. září 2023. Program se skládá ze závodů Adidas Běh pro ženy na 5 km a Birell Běh na 10 km. Událost si vyžádá zejména v den konání akce zhruba od 16:30 do 22:00 hodin některá dopravní opatření včetně dočasných změn v trasách linek MHD. Postupná uzavírka pozemních komunikací se bude týkat centrální části metropole.

25.7.2019 — The historical centre of Prague is hosting the international triathlon Ford Challenge Prague for the third year. This sporting event, which will take place on the 27th of July, is unforgettable for the athletes, as well as for fans and whole families.
