International Jazz Festival
Prague's Reduta Jazz Club, ranked by The Guardian magazine among the top ten jazz clubs in Europe, resonates with music of all genres from all over the world, from Dixieland and blues to classical and fusion jazz. The 39th International Jazz Festival Prague is held here until 5 November.
The festival traditionally brings together the biggest jazz stars from the world and Czech jazz scenes. Among them are, for example, jazz Diva and one of a kind vocalist Marianne Solivan from the USA accompanied by an Austrian modern jazz pioneer, pianist Walter Fischbacher, as well as Dian Pratiwi from Bali who is being compared by critics to Elle Fitzgerald. East West European Orchestra, a great European music project that combines the international reputation and regional peculiarities of individual musicians, is also scheduled to perform.
