Important car parks and garages in Prague

Hlavní nádraží (Main Train Station) – garage and parking complex

It provides an all day option for cars and buses to park in the city centre. Wenceslas Square is about 600m away. Customers will find a facility where they can park whenever they need. The complex is right next to the Main Station, and is connected to other public transport, such as metro station C and tram numbers 5, 9 and 26. The complex is conveniently connected to Wilsonova Street (arterial road) which enables easy navigation for non-Praguers and visitors from abroad, mainly to those coming to the city on the highway from the directions of Brno (D1) and Teplice (D8) direction.

Florenc

The car park is located in the street Na Florenci not far away from the centre. It connects with metro C and B, and can be found 80 metres from Masaryk Station. The car park caters for cars, motorcycles and buses. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday 9a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays and public holidays, 9a.m.-5p.m. Insurance is included in the fee.

Letiště Praha (Ruzyně airport)

At Ruzyně airport you can park directly in the building Parking C, which is right next to an access road leading from the slip road in the direction coming from Prague city centre and from Kladno. Three above-ground-levels offer over 3,000 parking spaces, and it's only 70 meters from Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is connected to the car park via an above-ground covered walkway. Parking fees can be paid at self service terminals in both dispatch halls - in cash, or by credit card. The car park is also accessible with baggage trolleys. Holders of the disability card, ZTP-P, can park for free. There is a special offer for tourists going away on charter flights. You can use the car park in front of Terminals 1 and 2 for short-term parking (up to 15 minutes) – it's free of charge.

Parking Národní divadlo (National Theatre)

Another interesting place for parking is available in the underground area of the National Theatre. The only entrance is via Divadelní Street, it has a capacity of 216 and it's used a lot during theatre visits, often even during the day as well. It's open twenty-four hours a day. Disabled access is available.

Malostranské Square

This car park is located in the very heart of the historical part of Prague. Access is from the streets Tomášská and Valdštejnská, from Klárov or Karmelitská Street and from Újezd, in the direction from Prague 5 and Legií Bridge. It's used for short term parking by city visitors. Its capacity is only 74 so it's not unusual to find all the spaces taken. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 7 a.m.–11 p.m., Saturday to Sunday and public holidays 8 a.m.–11 p.m.

Na Františku

This supervised public car park is accessible after passing through Letná tunnel and from Ludvík Svoboda Embankment. The car park is situated at the beginning of Revoluční Street on the right bank of the Vltava river, next to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and 500 m from Republic Square, metro station B, Kotva shopping centre and the Palladium shopping complex. Capacity is limited to 44, opening hours are Monday to Friday: 7a.m.–11p.m., Saturday: 8a.m.–11p.m. and Sunday: 8a.m.–7p.m.

Parking Kotva

Underground garages under Kotva shopping centre at Republic Square enable access to metro B and to the city centre, especially to the pedestrian zone in Na Příkopech Street, all the way to Wenceslas Square. Connections to trams are available at Republic Square.

Public Garages in the centre – Rudolfinum

Close to Palach Square and approximately 200 m from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square you can find this large underground car park. Connections to public transport are via metro line A – the station Staroměstská, or by tram nos. 17 and 18, and bus no. 133.  This is very convenient when visiting cultural events at the Rudolfinum. There is disabled access via a lift.

Alšovo nábřeží (Aleš Embankment)

This supervised public car park is located next to Manes Bridge and the nearby Four Seasons Hotel. The entrance to the car park is via Manes Bridge on the right bank of the Vltava River. Connections to public transport are within 150 metres – bus no. 133, tram nos. 17 and 18 and metro line A, at Staroměstská station. Charles Bridge is 200 m away on the other side of Mánes Bridge. Capacity is 49 and it is open twenty-four hours.

Garages Opletalova

These garages are a short stroll away from Wenceslas Square, with an entrance on Opletalova Street, and are open non-stop. During the week you can reserve a parking spot by calling numbers 224 210 879 or 224 211 511. The garages are connected to public transport – metro line C.

Nonstop parking at Florenc, Prague centre

The Nonstop parking centre is located in the vicinity of Prague centre, just a few steps from the ČSAD Florenc bus station and transfer metro station Florenc (lines B and C). Tram stops Těšnov and Bílá labuť (lines 3, 5, 8 and 24) can also be found nearby. Parking is available not only for cars but also for motorbikes, buses, trucks, semitrailers and trailers. The area incorporates a permanent security service, night lighting, camera system and other security features.

Václavské garage, Prague 2, Václavská 18

This underground garage with a capacity of 120 places is located in the centre of Prague, just a few steps from Charles Square (close to the metro B line). The garage operates non-stop, including staff service, for CZK 50 per hour.

OC Nový Smíchov

This underground garage belongs to Nový Smíchov shopping centre, and is used by shoppers, cinema goers and restaurant visitors. The first three hours are free of charge, during the weekends and bank holidays you can park for free for up 5 hours. The three Underground garages with a total capacity of 2,500 cars are close to public transport.  

Palladium

The underground garage is located in the shopping centre, and can accommodate up to 900 cars (the entrance and the exit is from Revoluční Street). This is the biggest parking centre in Prague 1. It is open nonstop with a parking fee at CZK 40 per hour and excellent public transport connections.

Public garage Slovan

This is one of the biggest garages in Prague and is integrated into the Prague public transport solution and includes an information and guidance system. The garage can be found next to the Prague State Opera, about 100 meters from Wenceslas Square, and is accessible directly from the North-South Arterial Road. There are 468 parking places available on 13 floors.  The garage can be used for short-term as well as long-term parking. The service is used mainly by the companies that have their offices nearby and by the residents of Prague 1 and 2. It is connected to the Metro A station Museum with nonstop operation, including personal service. 

 Public garage Limuzská

The garage is located under the new residential complex in Prague 10 Malešice, Limuszká 629 Street. There are 244 parking places; out of that number 20 are allocated for people with severe health disabilities. The garage serves local residents and residents of the building. The area is guarded by a camera system that is connected to the central control centre ELTODA. It operates non-stop, and the clients can get in using a magnetic chip.  

Garage Barrandov

This garage is located above ground and is made out of two separate six floor buildings located in Prague 5 -Barrandov, between the streets Pražského and Lipského. The place is equipped with a parking camera system, central control room and non-stop security service. There are 370 places available mainly used for long-term parking.  Each building has its own entrance and exit, and clients can get in using a magnetic chip.

O2 garage

This garage is located above ground, in Prague 9 Vysočany in Lisabonská Streets, opposite O2 Arena. There are 1,432 places available located on 7 floors. The garage can be used for short-term as well as long-term parking, and it's used mainly by O2 Arena visitors. The place is equipped with the most modern parking system, central control centre and non-stop security service.
