Traffic restrictions due to construction work for the bridge in Bubenská street.
At the beginning of February, construction work will commence on the bridge in Bubenská street, near the Vltavská metro station. The investor, Prague Technical Road Administration (Technická správa komunikací hl. m. Prahy, a.s.), expects the work to take approximately one month. Some traffic restrictions will be in place.
Tram traffic:
►From 04/02/2019 to 24/02/2019, tram traffic will be stopped on Hlávkův most. Tram 14, coming from the city centre, which normally goes over the bridge, will terminate at Bílá labuť. From Palmovka to Vysočanská, tram 6 will replace tram 14.
►On the weekends 09-10/02/2019 and 23-24/02/2019, tram traffic will not serve the following tram stops: Strossmayerovo náměstí – Vltavská – Pražská tržnice – Dělnická.
- Lines 1 and 25 will go from Strossmayerovo náměstí to Maniny via stops Výstaviště, Nádraží Holešovice and Ortenovo náměstí.
- Line 12 will go from Strossmayerovo náměstí via Veletržní palác to Výstaviště, where it will terminate.
►From 11/02/2019 to 22/02/2019, trams will go under the bridge X022 only in one direction: from Vltavská to Strossmayerovo náměstí. In the opposite direction, tram traffic will be disabled:
- In the direction from Palmovka to Letná, lines 1 and 25 will continue as normal.
- In the direction from Letná to Palmovka, lines 1 and 25 will go from Strossmayerovo náměstí to Maniny via Výstaviště, Nádraží Holešovice and Ortenovo náměstí.
- Line 12 will circle around Holešovice. From Letná, it will take the route Strossmayerovo náměstí – Výstaviště – Nádraží Holešovice – Ortenovo náměstí – Pražská tržnice – Vltavská – Strossmayerovo náměstí, and will continue to Letná and Smíchov.
Commuter traffic:
In the direction to Bubenská street, road traffic will be restricted for cars from 09/02/2019 to 24/02/2019. The traffic will be unrestricted on the second bridge to Hlávkův most from the opposite direction.
