19.5.2020 — Praha po vzoru Barcelony, Paříže, Bruselu, New Yorku, Berlína a dalších desítek měst reaguje na "koronakrizi" zpřístupňováním ulic a otevíráním veřejného prostoru ve prospěch chodců. První z nich bude část Smetanova nábřeží, kde se automobilová doprava směrem ke Křížovnickému náměstí u Karlova mostu svede do ulic Divadelní a Karoliny Světlé. Podle vedení města je při postupném uvolňování opatření proti koronaviru třeba hledat cesty, jak znovu oživit centrum města i ekonomiku. Pilotní dopravní režim začne platit od soboty 23. května 2020 minimálně do konce letních prázdnin.

29.8.2017 — Rada hl. m. Prahy dnes schválila vizi proměny Severojižní magistrály. Rušná dopravní tepna by se měla lépe zapojit do městského prostředí: v plánu jsou úpravy okolních ulic a parků nebo nové přechody. Na koncepci rozvoje magistrály spolupracoval Institut plánování a rozvoje Prahy s renomovanou dánskou kanceláří Gehl Architects.

2.6.2006 — Dekádu spolupráce občanských sdružení Symposion a Hestia s hlavním městem Praha připomene slavnostní večer, který ve své rezidenci hostí pražský primátor Pavel Bém. Náplní večera bude např. přehled projektů realizovaných o. s. Symposion v letech 1995 – 2005, či křest knihy Jiřího Sozanského Monology mapující umělecké počiny autora, které vznikly za podpory či spolupořadatelství města, dále se uskuteční premiéra dokumentu Od nuly sledujícího obnovu zaplaveného Karlína.

23.5.2020 — Prague Symphony Orchestra, also known as 'FOK', for 'Film-Opera-Koncert', is preparing the event 'Roušky se odkládají, salónky ožívají' ('Masks are put aside, halls are coming to life') in cooperation with the Municipal House. The event will make the reopening of the Municipal House a unique experience on the 25th of May from 6pm to 8pm. Halls that are usually accessible to the general public only on special occasions and with paid guided tours will come to life with free, short multi-genre concerts by Prague Symphony Orchestra's members.

25.10.2019 — The first official aerial sports championships in the Czech Republic and Slovakia will begin in Prague. You can come and see the elegant sport, where acrobats dance in the air with the aid of scarves, on the 26th of October in Královské Vinohrady. Aerobics and fitness are not as popular as adrenaline-filled sports. However, aerial acrobatics has recently experienced a great boom. And it's not just about the competition. Like any sport, aerial dancing can be practiced for fun.

26.9.2020 — The 28th of September is the Day of Czech Statehood. In Prague Zoo, this day is traditionally dedicated to the zoo's anniversary. The reopening of the Hippopotamus Pavilion and the introduction of the male hippoTchéco will be the highlights of this year's celebration. However, in order to maintain social distancing and prevent large numbers of visitors indoors, this part of the event will be broadcasted on ČT24 in the morning and visitors will be able to visit the Hippo Pavilion over the course of the afternoon.

30.9.2019 — The French Institute in Prague is hosting an exhibition of Sibylle Bergemann's photography until the 24th of October. Bergemann is one of the most important German photographers of the last decade.

29.2.2020 — The second annual Planet Fest, an event dedicated to our beautiful planet, will be held in Roxy Club, Prague on the 1st of March. Everything you need to thoughtfully enjoy your stay on Earth is there.

15.8.2019 — The padel tournament, International Padel Experience by Madison, will take place in Prague for the first time from the 16th to the 18th of August.

Dnes před námi nestojí hitlerovská třetí říše, ale jiný a možná ještě zákeřnější protivník. Militantní, fundamentalistický, dnešní globální svět černobíle rozdělující, a o to zákeřnější, ale přitom téměř neviditelný. Už dlouho jej vnímáme z uctivé vzdálenosti.
