Císařský Island and Troja reconnected by pedestrian bridge
30.10.2020 — The districts of Prague 7 and Prague-Troja are connected by a new pedestrian bridge three years after the disastrous collapse of the Troja Pedestrian Bridge. The bridge will serve not only pedestrians, cyclists and people on inline skates, but also the Integrated Rescue System vehicles shall the need arise. The total cost of the construction was 150 million CZK, and the construction took less than one year.
Prague Has New Ordinance for Street Art Production - Busking
8.1.2020 — Information on the operation of public street artistic production (busking) in Prague with regard to the new legislation in effect since 1 March 2016 - City of Prague Decree No. 1/2016 Coll. on restrictive measures to protect local public order in connection with the operation of public street artistic production in public places.

24.3.2011 — Magistrát hlavního města Prahy, za podpory a organizace magazínu Egovernment, uspořádal včera již šestý ročník již tradiční konference ePraha – výzvy a příklady řešení. Konal se v budově Nové radnice na Mariánském náměstí a byl zaměřen na představení a podrobnou diskuzi jednotlivých konkrétních projektů realizovaných jak Magistrátem hl. m. Prahy, tak jím zřízenými organizacemi (ZZS, MP) tak i městskými částmi. Večer byly v Rezidenci primátora hl. m. Prahy vyhlášeny výsledky krajského kola soutěže Zlatý Erb 2011 a JuniorErb 2011.
Special admission to the National Technical Museum
30.6.2019 — As part of its hundredth anniversary celebrations, the National Technical Museum is offering reductions on admission prices on Thursday, the 5th of July. The museum is the largest Czech institution that specialises in technical collections, and it was founded on the 5th of July 1908 as the Technical Museum of the Bohemian Kingdom. Currently, its collections are in 14 permanent exhibitions and a number of temporary exhibitions.

29.6.2020 — Střelecký Island ('Střelecký ostrov' or simply 'Střelák' to the locals) in the heart of Prague not only offers scenic views of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, and romantic walks in the shade of mature trees, but has also become a place for free outdoor public dancing in recent years. Many dance programmes and workshops take place on a pontoon that has been anchored to the island for several years, offering an additional stage and dance floor. Dancing is a pleasant social activity, as well as a manifestation of emotions. It is an art form, which brings the pleasure of moving to music to everyone, both spectators and dancers, whether they dance alone, in pairs or in groups.
