23.11.2019 — In the spring of 2020, revitalization works on the lower part of Wenceslas Square will commence. Residents of Prague as well as visitors to the Czech capital can look forward to a brand new modern public space. A venue for cultural events, new boulevards and walkways are just part of the planned work on the square. Another part of the revitalization is the preparation fora possible tram line in the future. Work at the bottom of Wenceslas Square should be completedby the end of 2021.

30.10.2020 — The city of Prague will launch a new campaign from Monday, the 26th of October, showing the faces of the frontline workers fighting the pandemic every day.

16.7.2013 — V sobotu 20. července 2013 v 19.00 hodin se v kostele sv. Šimona a Judy v Praze představí symfonický orchestr z partnerského města Guangzhou. Koncert proběhne v rámci turné po partnerských městech - Frankfurtu, Rottweilu a Lyonu.

10.12.2013 — Rada hlavního města Prahy odsouhlasila uplatnění předkupního práva na odkoupení 742 580 kusů akcií na jméno v listinné podobě emitovaných akciovou společností Pražská plynárenská Holding (PPH) za celkovou cenu 2 145 200 000 korun od společnosti E.ON Czech Holding AG. Uvedená cena odpovídá ceně ze znaleckých posudků American Appraisal, s.r.o., a NSD Morison znalecký ústav, s. r. o. O obchodu rozhodne s konečnou platností prosincové Zastupitelstvo hl. m. Prahy.

31.8.2020 — The city of Prague and the partner organisation 'Praha sportovní' are holding the ninth Sports Clubs Open Month ('Měsíc náborů do sportovních Klubů') in September. The aim of this project is to offer children from Prague the opportunity to try out various sports and pick out their favourite.

27.1.2020 — The Municipal Environmental Protection Department of Prague City Hall was responsible for the completion of the reconstruction of the Chapel of St. Cross on Petřín Hill. The chapel, which was damaged by leaking water, is close to Petřín Tower Park Cross. The cost of the repairs was CZK 2.8 million.

8.6.2015 — Primátorka hl. m. Prahy Adriana Krnáčová se zúčastní festivalu „Dny Prahy v Chicagu“, který se uskuteční u příležitosti 25. výročí navázání partnerství obou měst od 10. do 23. června 2015. Je věnován především slavné české minulosti v Chicagu, nabídne mj. historickou výstavu, hudbu a výtvarná díla od pražských a místních umělců ale také např. přehlídku současných českých filmů.

15.8.2011 — Starting 1 November 2016, support for events in the field of culture and tourism is to be provided by the City of Prague through the applicable grant (subsidy) programmes (see section Grants), in justified cases it is possible to apply for support in the form of Individual Targetted Subsidies as per Section 10a (2) and (3) of Act No. 250/2000 Coll., on the budgetary rules of territorial budgets, as amended.
