9.9.2019 — Pražští radní podpořili financování projektové přípravy a částečnou realizaci cest pro cyklisty a pěší na severovýchodě Prahy. Městské části Praha 14, Praha 18, Praha 19, Praha 20, Praha-Čakovice, Praha-Satalice a Praha-Vinoř vyprojektují, jak jednoduchými úpravami polních cest a cest třetí třídy propojit stávající cyklostezky v ucelený a komplexní systém cest nejen pro kola.

12.1.2015 — Pražská botanická zahrada je v zimě otevřena denně od 9.00 do 16.00 hodin s výjimkou skleníku Fata Morgana, který je v pondělí uzavřen. V zimním období je program situován především do vnitřních prostor. Zahrada nabízí například každý pátek „Večerní provázení skleníkem Fata Morgana“ a ve výstavním sále se každý čtvrtek v podvečer konají přednášky odborníků na botaniku.

24.2.2021 — Během dvou let přibude v hlavním městě několik set stožárů veřejného osvětlení, ze kterých si budou moci Pražané dobíjet své elektromobily. Městská společnost Technologie hlavního města Prahy (THMP) tak naváže na pilotní projekt realizovaný v loňském roce ve spolupráci s PREdistribucí na Vinohradech, kde bylo instalováno třináct tzv. EV ready lamp. Těch by během dvou let mělo ve dvanácti vybraných lokalitách přibýt více než čtyři sta. Vyšší desítky ještě letos, zbytek v příštím roce. Rozjíždí se tak ostrá fáze společného projektu, na jehož konci by mohlo být až několik tisíc EV ready lamp.

8.6.2020 — Pražští radní dnes schválili studii city logistiky, která navrhuje efektivní řešení zásobování a nákladní dopravy v Praze. Studie, kterou vypracoval Institut plánování a rozvoje hl. m. Prahy (IPR), mimo jiné navrhuje využití městských dep, nákladních kol a nové řešení parkování pro zásobování. Doporučení vycházející ze studie nyní budou rozpracovávat odbory Magistrátu hl. m. Prahy a příslušné městské organizace.

18.12.2018 — Until next March, an exhibition will take place on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Postal Museum, where the postage stamps from 1918 - 2018 will be presented. Visitors will also see the unveiled and less known proposals.

23.9.2020 — The National Memorial on the Vítkov Hill hosts an exhibition 'We want to be free, we will be free!', which is dedicated to the establishment of the independent State of Latvia. The exhibition will be open in the Ceremonial Hall until the 4th of October.

28.12.2019 — The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague is hosting an exhibition of works by the iconic Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala until the 23rd of January. The exhibition is held in the museum's historical building in the city centre. The exhibition's curators are Uta Laurén and Jan Mergl.

23.3.2020 — Due to the coronavirus pandemic, you do not currently have the opportunity to visit exhibitions and museums in the Czech capital; however, you can still enjoy online tours and art from the comfort of your own home. For example, the City of Prague Museum is offering online exhibitions and tutorials for children.

14.4.2019 — The American Center in Prague will host the Jazz World Photo exhibition until the 30th of April 2019.

7.4.2019 — Until the 3rd of May 2019, in the Baroque Chapel of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague, you will have the opportunity to visit a photographic exhibition of the most renowned Italian photographers documenting the Italian landscape and its development from the 1950s to date.

31.1.2020 — Prague Botanical Garden in Troja has prepared a special experience for its visitors with late guided tours through the Fata Morgana greenhouse in the dark. This is a unique opportunity to see what the jungle looks like at night.

18.8.2020 — The vulnerable Texas tortoise is a species of tortoise in the Testudinidae family, and one of six species of tortoises in the Gopherus genus, commonly referred to as gopher tortoises. They are native to North America, in southern US and northern Mexico. Prague Zoo, which is the only zoo in Europe that successfully breeds this species, celebrated the birth of a new hatchling in the second half of July. Texas tortoises inhabit deep burrows, which they dig with their strong claws and flattened front legs. However, they prefer to use pre-dug mammal burrows. Prague Zoo has kept a group of these interesting tortoises in the Sonora exhibit in the Pavilion of Beasts and Reptiles since 2007. The first hatchlings were born in 2010.

1.5.2019 — Recently, two flocks of sheep and goats have been grazing in and around Prague's green areas. The third flock will be added soon, and all three flocks will graze in the selected locations until October.

31.8.2020 — This year, the Open House Prague urban architecture festival will take place on the weekend of the 5th and 6th September. A total of 73 architecturally interesting buildings and spaces will be open free of admission to the public.
