29.12.2019 — If you come to the National Museum of Agriculture in Prague before the 1st of August 2020, you will be able to admire a photo exhibition called 'Jindřich Štreit and Cycles'. Jindřich Štreit is a world-renowned Czech photographer and according to him, agriculture is his life theme.

Not only will you see the Holy Family in a straw-like form and life-size, there is also a unique Czech one - a fish nativity scene written in the Czech Book of Records or an African nativity scene from ebony wood. And this year, the museum also focused on the history of the Christmas tree.

19.2.2020 — The National Pedagogical Museum hosts an interesting exhibition that tells the life story of Jan Amos Comenius (Komenský in Czech) in a unique way. The 'KOMenský v KOMiksu' ('Comenius in the Comics') exposition will be open in the museum building on Valdštejnská Street until the 31st of December 2020.

6.1.2019 — The extensive graphic collection Passion and Guilt by the famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso are on exhibit in Museum Kampa until the 15th of January 2019. The works, which were created in the 1930s, are on loan from the renowned Museo Reina Sofía (Queen Sofía Museum) in Madrid, Spain. They can be seen in the Czech Republic for the first time ever. The cycle is a collection of one hundred works that the artist compared to a diary, reflecting on his extraordinary life story.

29.6.2020 — V rámci podpory kulturních institucí v době po koronavirové krizi se hlavní město rozhodlo umožnit lidem vstup do vybraných galerií a muzeí s 50% slevou. Při vstupu do celkem devíti různých institucí k tomu postačí ukázat kartu Lítačka. Celková podpora Prahy v podobě dorovnání poloviny vstupného za období červenec a srpen 2020 je více jak 13 milionů korun. Projekt je uskutečněn ve spolupráci s Prague City Tourism (PCT).

17.3.2022 — V pražském Museu Kampa můžete do 29. května navštívit výstavu jednoho z nejvýraznějších českých malířů poválečné generace a dlouholetého pedagoga pražské Akademie výtvarných umění Jiřího Sopka. Retrospektivu jeho tvorby připravilo Museum Kampa u příležitosti nedávných osmdesátin tohoto umělce.

2.8.2021 — V úterý 3. srpna 2021 se na zahradě Werichovy vily uskuteční prezentace knihy Rudé století, která doplňuje stejnojmennou výstavu. Publikaci představí za autory Jan Kalous a Petr Blažek. Dalšími hosty prezentace budou Hana Kordová Marvanová a Jiří Pospíšil.

27.6.2016 — Primátorka hl. m. Prahy dnes předala čestné občanství významným českým výtvarníkům Karlu Malichovi a in memoriam Adrieně Johnové Šimotové. Udělení čestných občanství navrhly ke schválení Radě hl. m. Prahy a Zastupitelstvu hl. m. Prahy primátorka Adriana Krnáčová a předsedkyně Výboru pro kulturu a památkovou péči ZHMP Eliška Kaplický Fuchsová.

28.12.2019 — The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague is hosting an exhibition of works by the iconic Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala until the 23rd of January. The exhibition is held in the museum's historical building in the city centre. The exhibition's curators are Uta Laurén and Jan Mergl.
