13.2.2017 — Prague is the traditional centre of the Czech film industry and a favourite destination for foreign film crews. By founding the Prague Audiovisual Fund, the city wants to actively support the presentation of the City of Prague abroad through film and television productions.

31.8.2020 — Prague Zoo has been working to protect endangered Egyptian vultures in Bulgaria for a long time. Experts placed two young birds into two wild vultures' nests in the Eastern Rhodopes a few days ago as part of this programme.

13.2.2019 — The City of Prague Museum, in cooperation with the Free State of Saxony's liaison office in Prague, organised an exhibition of children's drawings with fairy tale themes in the Ctěnice Chateau complex. The exhibition will be open until the 17th March.

31.1.2019 — The National Museum in Prague has one of the largest paleontological collections in Europe. Now, the collection has expanded with even more specimens. For last year's 200th anniversary, the Museum received a unique gift - a collection of fossils of Tertiary flora and fauna.

25.11.2019 — Pražští radní dnes odsouhlasili rozpočet vlastního hlavního města na rok 2020. Objem rozpočtu je 83,8 miliardy korun, výše investic dosahuje 16,8 miliardy. Jde o zodpovědný a výhledově přebytkový rozpočet - počítá s možným zpomalením ekonomiky, a tedy nižším růstem příjmů. Na prosincovém jednání bude rozpočet předložen zastupitelům.

23.8.2019 — As in previous years, Čajomír Fest, the 11th annual international tea festival, will offer two days of tea tasting, food, workshops, children's activities, music, relaxation, pottery and much more. You can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the festival on the 24th and 25th of August at Vyšehrad.
