Birell Prague Grand Prix 2017
The third of the series of this year's world races RUNCZECH held in Prague is titled Birell Prague Grand Prix 2017 and will start on the Saturday evening of September 9th, in the city center.
The race--in its 22nd year--grows in attractiveness every year for both, runners and spectators. Its course leads through the unique backdrop of the historical center of Prague, which was added to the UNESCO's list as a cultural and historical heritage site 25 years ago. The 10K main run takes place at dusk, when the ancient palaces illuminate by the last rays of the setting sun and street lamps gradually turn on, reflections of which multiply at the surface of the Vltava river. Adding to the traditionally great event organization - the race has the Golden IAAF mark - and thousands of encouraging viewers, it is no wonder that the maximum number of 11,000 runners is always reached.
